Why small groups work
The Education Endowment Foundation’s research finds that small group tuition adds an average of four months’ extra progress over a year. It also finds that impact drops noticeably once groups grow beyond six or seven.
That’s why we help tutors design groups of six or fewer: small enough for every student to be seen and heard, and large enough for real discussion.

Hi there, we’re Ellie, Mel, Terry and Kelly
We’re a small team with a family at its heart: Ellie, her sister Mel and their dad Terry, with Kelly looking after the tech. Since 2019 we’ve been helping experienced tutors and teachers move from one-to-one lessons to group programmes, with structure and support at every step.
